The official smoking areas at Jeju International Airport are all located outdoors. There are no indoor smoking rooms. If you wish to smoke, you must go outside the airport building. Please note that smoking in non-designated areas may result in a fine.

Guide to Smoking Areas at Jeju International Airport

Arrival Floor (1st Floor) Smoking Areas: 2 Locations

#Gate 1 Area (Far Left End)

*Exit the arrival hall on the 1st floor and walk to the far left, toward Gate 1. You will find a smoking area there.
*The location has recently been changed closer to Gate 1, so look for this gate as your main landmark.

 

 

 

#Gate 5 Area (Far Right End)

*Exit the arrival hall on the 1st floor and walk to the far right, toward Gate 5. Another smoking area is located there.
*This area is right next to the Airport Bus 600 stop and tends to be busier.

 

 

Departure Floor (3rd Floor) Smoking Area: 1 Location

#Across from Gate 3 or Gate 4

*On the 3rd floor departure hall, exit through Gate 3 or 4 and cross the pedestrian crossing outside. The smoking area is located across the street.

 

*Since you have to wait for the traffic light and cross the road, this area is less accessible than the 1st floor locations.

 

 

 

 

Important Notes for Use

*The smoking areas at Jeju Airport are usually crowded, so please be considerate and follow smoking etiquette.

 

*Smoking outside of designated areas may result in a fine of 100,000 KRW.

*Smoking is strictly prohibited indoors (including waiting areas, restrooms, etc.), and this also applies to electronic cigarettes.
